Phil Stockton - Director Phil Stockton has worked in entertainment industry for over 25 years, as an Equity actor, writer, director, and educator. He has taught for the Young Conservatory at A.C.T., Berkeley Repertory Theatre, and for several years at the East Bay Center for the Performing Arts, where he taught Media Literacy and Theatre Arts to at-risk youth. His educational experience led him to his work in prisons, where he has initiated play creation programs at 8 incarcerated facilities, including the Oregon State Penitentiary, San Quentin Prison in California, Woodbourne Correctional in New York, and MacLaren Youth Correctional. Phil is currently working in the Woodbourne and Wallkill correctional facilities in upstate NY, under the auspices of RTA (Rehabilitation Through the Arts).
